217729_4470988933697_1346747211_nWho or what is the girl from Mars, you may be wondering? Well, my name is Bel and Durban, South Africa is my hometown, though I currently live in Johannesburg.  Not quite Mars but sometimes just as odd.

The idea behind this site was two-fold really – part blog, and part portfolio of the freelance writing work I do.  So if you have the time, feel free to nose about in the random thoughts that drift across my mind, or have a look at the links to articles or copy I’ve written.

The things I love are many and varied.  Books, chocolate, good friends, amazing bands, spontaneous road trips and sarcasm are just a few.  Oh and writing of course.  So, make yourself comfy and happy reading!

Freelance services include copywriting, technical writing, proofreading and editing. Please visit the contact page to get in touch should you need more information.

It’s an absloute pleasure. I’m sure I’ll be back soon!

  3. Your blog on ‘Choosing Childlessness’ – Wow! I get emails from All4women and today they had this blog as a feature. Just last night I was talking to some friends about this. The way you wrote that blog, was exactly what I think and feel. You had me rolling on the floor, wiping the tears from my eyes, with laughter. Brilliant! I couldn’t have said those things better myself, but then again you are the talented writer and not me 😉 If ever you are in Pretoria, I have a name of a gynae who won’t judge you for your decision. There is a 3 month waiting list for an appointment with him, but he is worth it! Thanking you for the good laugh! This weekend I am going to make a plan to browse around this site for some more funny insights! 😀
